Weekly Farmer's Markets are also a wonderful community get together, especially in the summer months! There is always live music and kids activities in addition to the plentiful produce. Saturday mornings there are markets in Walnut Creek (at Shadelands), Downtown Pleasant Hill, Clayton, Orinda and Danville. Sunday mornings you can find them in Downtown Walnut Creek (Locust Street), downtown Martinez, Moraga Center and Alamo Plaza, as well as Tuesdays from 10 am to 2 pm at Todos Santos Plaza in Concord and 4 to 8 pm in Downtown Pleasant Hill.
If the movie in the park events are too late at night for your little one, consider dropping by the library as they have regular afternoon and early evening family movies. Be sure to check the schedule online for upcoming activities.
